A Spanish lady comes to live in Mexico City with her Mexican husband who she has recently married. His strange disappearance leaves her in a state of desperation and anguish. She is forced to leave her home and then runs out of money. Then, when things finally seem to be brightening up, she discovers the unexpected truth about her husband.
